hello...

Hello, after much encouragement from the lovely Pip we have finally decided to start a blog.

Mc Cranky is the crafting hobby that we began about a year ago, while we were living in Richmond. Claire began by making simple aprons from patterns we found in op shops, and then developed into a more unique style. Soon after Claire started making bags and then cushions and finally we got out things stocked in Mikes.

Since then our obsession with op shopping has grown, as we are constantly searching through piles of old linen, fabrics, books and patterns at any chance we get.

We are always so inspired from the things we see and read on the internet especially from other craft blogs, and are really pleased to be able to join such a friendly community.

As we are both very new to this blogging thing, and are hoping to share the posting, it might take us a few weeks to get used to regular post, but please come back and visit soon.

Below are a few photos we took at one of ours days at the Hawthorn Craft Market, we will be sure to post some more detailed shots of our things soon.
