Next Saturday the 10th of October McCranky! will be having a market stall. Its very exciting we haven't had a market stall in a long time. The market is at the Park Hotel, Nicholson st Abbotsford in the beer garden. There will be a couple of interesting stalls and I think it should be a nice day. It would be lovely to see a few friendly faces so please do stop by and say hello.

Camberwell Market.

On Sunday I will be at the market selling things, not McCranky things but other op-shop finds i have been holding on to for far too long, prices will be low and hopefully there will be a good range of things to see, come and visit, I will definitely say hello!

A Christmas Dinner!

Last night some friends and I had a small Christmas dinner. We went to the market, got lots and lots of ingredients and dreamed about eating even more, we went home put the roast in the oven and started making a trifle, we didn't put it in the traditional round glass bowl because we didn't have one, but instead improvised with the shallow lasagne dish, it didn't impact on the taste at all.

Right now though I'm about to begin the annual christmas bake with mum, its always lots of fun!

Our Weekend

We arrived home from our lovely weekend away in Daylesford on Monday but have been to busy to post about it since then. These are just a few photos of the different things we got up to, we visited may op-shops, stayed in the lovliest little cottage, browed old things for hours, drank some wine, enjoyed some cheese, visited markets and ate delicious local chocolate. We even visited Hepburn Springs and had a relaxing time sitting in the spa. We also brought a lot of things to which we will share a little later.

Leaving Today!

In just a minute Claire Josie and I are about to leave for a weekend away in Daylesford, while there we plan on doing as much op-shopping as possible, visit all the markets and definitely the vintage warehouse too. We are probably most excited about visiting the makers market for the first time though, where we are hoping to view lots of lovely local crafty things!

New Old Things!

This is just a few of the things I have found on my market or op-shop trips of late. The rabbit is old but still a favourite and the ice bucket in the back is for my brother, he has quite a large collection now, and I think this one will fit in nicely. I'm especially happy with the children's books, just recently I was talking about my eagerness to acquire some of these, and then yesterday at the market there they were. I even found a name mug for pip and was delighted by her reaction when i delivered it to her on Friday. The tray-table that the things are sitting on was also brought at the market yesterday, i'm aiming to use it as a small desk for my computer, as i'm currently living in a room that is to small to accomodate a desk. I like it because it looks like the flowers on it have been stiched on when really they haven't.
